Privacy Policy
How Rojgar Bazaar collects, uses and protects your information.
Information we collect
When you log in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo. If you fill in your profile we store your city, area and PIN code. When you post work we store the details you enter, including a phone number if you choose to give one. We store the messages you send through the website. Our servers keep basic technical logs such as IP address and browser type for security.
Location
If you allow location in your browser, your approximate location (rounded to about one kilometre) is saved in a cookie on your device so that nearby work can be shown first. It is not saved in your account. You can block location in your browser at any time and use a PIN code instead.
How we use it
We use your information to run your account, show your posts, show nearby work, deliver messages, prevent spam and fake posts, and answer your requests. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Who can see what
Your name and photo are shown on work you post and in messages. Your phone number, if you give one, is shown only to logged-in users and is never shown publicly. Your email address is never shown to other users.
Cookies
We use a login cookie to keep you signed in, a language cookie to remember Hindi or English, and a location cookie if you allow location. We do not use these cookies to track you on other websites.
Sharing
We share information only when required by law or to protect users from fraud. Our hosting and login providers process data on our behalf only to run the service.
Keeping and deleting data
Posts stay visible for up to 45 days and are then removed from listings. You can delete your account from your account settings, and your profile and posts will be removed. Some records may be kept for a short time where the law requires it.
Age
Rojgar Bazaar is meant for people aged 18 and above.
